UK authorizes drone strikes in Syria to kill British jihadis

For the first time ever, the UK authorized a drone strike to kill its citizens fighting for Islamic State in Syria. The unprecedented airstrike killed two Britons while a third one was killed in a US strike.
The secret killing of Cardiff-born Reyaad Khan and Ruhul Amin from Aberdeen in Scotland was announced by Prime Minister David Cameron in the House of Commons on Monday .Cameron justified the assassination by saying that the two Britons were planning deadly attacks on British soil, specifically targeting Qu een Elizabeth.
It is believed that Came ron along with his defence secretary has drawn up a list of 10 such Britons who have joined hands with IS.
Experts say similar remote controlled drone strikes on those in this list will follow.
The list includes the noto rious Jihadi John who was recently identified Moham med Emwazi. Cameron wants Jihadi John alive, to “face justice for his crimes rather than be killed“. Ca meron recently confirmed to the UN General Assem bly that around 500 Britons have joined IS in Syria.
