யோவான் 21:22,23 அதற்கு இயேசு: நான் வருமளவும் இவனிருக்க எனக்குச் சித்தமானால், உனக்கென்ன, நீ என்னைப் பின்பற்றிவா என்றார். ஆகையால் அந்தச் சீஷன் மரிப்பதில்லை என்கிற பேச்சு சகோதரருக்குள்ளே பரம்பிற்று. ஆனாலும், அவன் மரிப்பதில்லையென்று இயேசு சொல்லாமல், நான் வருமளவும் இவனிருக்க எனக்குச் சித்தமானால் உனக்கென்னவென்று சொன்னார்.

நண்பர்களுக்கு,

கீழ்க்கண்ட வசனத்தை பாஸ்டரிடமும் மற்றவர்களிடமும் விவாதித்தேன்.

“சர்ப்பங்களை எடுப்பார்கள்; விஷத்தை குடித்தாலும் அது அவர்களைச் சேதப்படுத்தாது; வியாதியஸ்தர் மேல் கைகளை வைப்பார்கள், அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் சொஸ்தமாவார்கள் என்றார்.”

இயேசுவை சாத்தான் பரிட்ச்சித்து பார்க்கிறான்

Mat 4:6 நீர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனேயானால் தாழக்குதியும்; ஏனெனில், தம்முடைய தூதர்களுக்கு உம்மைக்குறித்துக் கட்டளையிடுவார்; உமது பாதம் கல்லில் இடறாதபடிக்கு, அவர்கள் உம்மைக் கைகளில் ஏந்திக்கொண்டு போவார்கள் என்பதாய் எழுதியிருக்கிறது என்று சொன்னான்.
Mat 4:7 அதற்கு இயேசு: உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பரீட்சை பாராதிருப்பாயாக என்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறதே என்றார்.

மேற்கண்ட வசனத்தை குறிப்பிட்டு தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை பரிட்சை செய்து பார்க்கக்கூடாது என்று பாஸ்டர் மற்றும் நண்பர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.

ஆனால், மேற்கண்ட வசனத்திலேயே வியாதியஸ்தர் மேல் கைகளை வைப்பார்கள் அவர்கள் சொஸ்தமாவார்கள் என்று இருப்பதையும் நாம் செய்யக்கூடாதே? ஏனெனில் அதுவும் கர்த்தரை பரிட்சை பார்க்கும் வண்ணமாகத்தானே ஆகும்? அப்படியாயின் கைவைப்பதால் சொஸ்தம் ஆகிறது என்று நாம் நம்புவதும் பிரச்சாரம் செய்வதும் தவறு தானே? என்று கேட்டேன்.

அது தவறில்லை. ஏனென்றால், சொஸ்தம் ஆகவில்லை என்றால் ஒரு பிரச்னையுமில்லை. ஆனால் விஷம் குடித்து இறந்துவிட்டால் என்ன செய்வது என்று கேட்டார்கள்.

பாஸ்டர் மற்றும் நண்பர்கள் அனைவருமே இந்த பதிலையே சொன்னார்கள். வெறுத்துப்போய்விட்டது.

ஆகையால் ஒரு கிறிஸ்துவருக்கும் இயேசு ஒரு உயிருள்ள தேவன் என்றோ அல்லது அவர் வாக்குறுதியை காப்பாற்றுவார் என்றோ நம்பிக்கை கிஞ்சித்தும் இல்லை.

மற்றொரு பாஸ்டரிடம் கேட்டேன்.

“வியாதியஸ்தர்கள் மீது கையை வைத்தால் சொஸ்தம் ஆவார்கள்” என்று இயேசு சொல்கிறாரே? அது போல, இயேசு சொன்னதை வைத்து வியாதியஸ்தர்கள் மீது கை வைத்து சொஸ்தம் செய்வது கர்த்தரை பரிட்சித்து பார்ப்பதாக ஆகாதா? என்று கேட்டேன்.

அவர் சொன்னார்,

சாத்தான் தேவகுமாரனை பரிட்சை செய்தான். சாத்தானுக்கு பதில் கூறமாட்டேன் என்று தேவகுமாரன் மறுத்தார். ஏனெனில், சாத்தானுக்காக தேவகுமாரன் ஒரு செயல் செய்தால் அது சாத்தானுக்கு கீழ்ப்படிந்ததாக ஆகிவிடும்.

ஆனால், இந்த வசனங்கள் தேவகுமாரன், மக்களுக்கு உரைத்தது. தேவகுமாரனின் வாக்குறுதி இது. இதனை பரிட்சித்து பார்ப்பதையும் தேவகுமாரனை சாத்தான் பரிட்சித்து பார்த்ததையும் ஒப்பிட இயலாது. ஆகையால் இயேசுவின் வாக்குறுதியை நம்புவதும் அதன் படி நம் வாழ்க்கையை அமைத்துக்கொள்வதும், அதற்காக பெற்றோரையும் சகோதரர்களையும் பகைத்துக்கொள்வதும் கூட கர்த்தருக்கு உவப்பானதுதான். கர்த்தருடைய சொற்களை நம்பாமலிருப்பதும் அதன் படி நடக்காமலிருப்பதும்தான் பாவம் என்று சொன்னார்.

பிறகு கேட்டேன். இந்த வசனத்தின் முன்னால், விஷம் குடித்தாலும் அவர்களை ஒன்றும் செய்யாது என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறதே அப்படியானால் விஷம் குடிக்கலாமா என்று கேட்டேன்.

பதில் சொல்லாமல் முறைத்துவிட்டு போய்விட்டார்.

ஆகவே கிறிஸ்துவம் என்பதே பெரிய பொய் என்ற முடிவுக்கு வந்துவிட்டேன்.
இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உயிருள்ள தேவன் என்று நம்புபவர் யாருமில்லை. என்னதான் வெளியிலே வேஷம் போட்டாலும் நம்பினாலும், உள்ளூர கர்த்தர் மீது பாரத்தை போட்டு விஷம் குடிக்க ஒருவர் கூட தயாரில்லை.

அத்தோடு என்னுடைய கிறிஸ்துவத்துக்கும் முழுக்கு.

என் அம்மா அப்பா சகோதர சகோதரிகள் உறவினர் அனைவருமே கிறிஸ்துவர்கள்தான். அவர்கள் எப்படியோ இருந்துவிட்டு போகட்டும். ஆனால் நான் கிறிஸ்துவனில்லை.

A new documentary made by Simcha Jacobovici claims that the nails found in a tomb in al-Quds (Jerusalem) were used to crucify Jesus Christ.

The Nails of the Cross follows three years of research during which Jacobovici presents his assertions, Reuters reported.

The veteran investigator says this find is different from the ones he announced before because it has special historical and archaeological context.

"What we are bringing to the world is the best archaeological argument ever made that two of the nails from the crucifixion of Jesus have been found," he said.

"Do I know 100 percent yes, these are them? I don't."

Jacobovici's previous film, which claimed to reveal the lost tomb of Jesus, also sparked debate.

The Nails of the Cross revisits a 2,000-year-old tomb found in 1990 which was believed by many to have been the resting place of Jewish high priest Caiaphas, who in the New Testament presides over the trial of Jesus.

Two iron nails were found in the tomb and were according to the film mysteriously disappeared shortly after.

Jacobovici claims that he tracked them down to a laboratory in Tel Aviv, which belonged to an anthropologist and expert on ancient bones.

The nails are eaten away by rust and bent at the end.

"If you look at the whole story, historical, textual, archaeological, they all seem to point at these two nails being involved in a crucifixion," Jacobovici said.

"And since Caiaphas is only associated with Jesus's crucifixion, you put two and two together and they seem to imply that these are the nails."

Israeli Antiquities Authority reacted to the film's release, saying that it was never proved that the tomb belonged to Caiaphas and that nails were common finds in burial places.

"There is no doubt that the talented director Simcha Jacobovici created an interesting film with a real archaeological find at its center, but the interpretation presented in it has no basis in archaeological findings or research," it said.

Most experts and scholars contacted by Reuters dismissed Jacobovici's case as far-fetched, some even calling it a publicity stunt.

Syriac Bible found in northern Cyprus

An ancient Bible has been found in northern Cyprus.

Turkish Cypriot police say they have found an ancient version of the Bible in a raid on suspected antiquity smugglers in northern Cyprus.

The manuscript is written in Syriac and bears part of the Bible written in gold lettering on vellum.

Some experts believe the golden lettering dates the book back to about 2,000 years ago, Reuters reported.

"I'd suspect that it is most likely to be less than 1,000 years old," said Cambridge University expert Peter Williams.

Other experts however believe the book could have been written much later.

"The Syriac writing seems to be in the East Syriac script with vowel points, and you do not find such manuscripts before about the 15th century,” said JF Coakley of Cambridge University.

"On the basis of the one photo...if I'm not mistaken some words at least seem to be in modern Syriac, a language that was not written down until the mid-19th century," he added.

The Turkish Cypriot police have charged nine individuals with smuggling antiquities and illegal excavations.

பைபிள் கூறும் உண்மைகள்

பாவத்தைப் போக்க வந்த பரமபிதா

உலகிலுள்ள மக்கள் அனைவரையும் உலுக்கி எடுக்கும் வார்த்தை ஒன்று உண்டானால் அது பாவம் என்பதாகும். அது ஒருவனைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டால் அவன் பாவியாகிவிடுகின்றான். அப்படிப்பட்ட பாவம் உலகத்தில் எப்போது தோன்றியது? எப்படித் தோன்றியது? அதை விரட்டுவது எப்படி என்ற விவரங்கள் உலகின் பெரும்பான்மையான மக்களுக்குத் தெரியாமலே வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

அந்த விவரங்கள் பைபிளிலேயே இருக்கின்றது என்ற உண்மை எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்திருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லாததால், எல்லோருமே தெரிந்து கொள்ளும்படிச் செய்வது அவசியமாகின்றது. முழுமையாகத் தெரிந்து கொள்ள தேவன் உலகத்தைப் படைத்த ஆதிகாலத்திலிருந்தே வரவேண்டும்.

(பேதுரு 3:5) பூர்வ காலத்தில் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையினாலே வானங்களும், ஜலத்தினின்று தோன்றி நிலைகொண்டிருக்கிற பூமியும் உண்டாயின.

இறைவனாகிய தேவன் ஆதிநாளிலே பூமியையும், சூரியனையும், சந்திரனையும், நீரையும், காற்றையும் படைத்தார். பூமியில் வாழ்வதற்கு ஆதாம், ஏவாள் என்று பெயரிடப்பட்ட ஆண், பெண் இருவரையும் படைத்தார். பூமியிலே அவர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியோடு வாழ்வதற்காக கார்டன் ஆப் ஈடன் (Garden of Eden) என்ற தோட்டத்தையும் உருவாக்கி அதில் அவர்களை ஆனந்தமாக வாழும்படிச் செய்தார் சில நிபந்தனைகளுடன்.

ஆதாம், ஏவாள் இருவருக்கும் இறைவன் விதித்த நிபந்தனைகள் என்ன என்று பார்ப்போம். அவர்கள் இருவரும் தோட்டத்திலோ, உலகின் மற்ற பகுதிக்கோ எங்கு வேண்டுமானாலும் செல்லலாம். எதை வேண்டுமானாலும் சாப்பிடலாம். ஆனால், இறைவனால் அமைக்கப்பட்ட கார்டன் ஆப் ஈடன் என்ற தோட்டத்தில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட இடத்திலே உள்ள ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட மரத்தின் கனியை மட்டும் சாப்பிடக்கூடாது. மேலும், அந்தக் கனி இருக்கும் மரத்தின் அருகில்கூட போகக் கூடாது என்று நிபந்தனையாக மட்டுமல்லாது கட்டளையாகவும் கூறியிருந்தார்.

ஆண்டவனின் ஆணைப்படியே நடந்து ஆனந்தமாக வாழ்ந்து வந்தார்கள் தேவனால் படைக்கப்படாத சாத்தானைக் காணும் வரை.

சாத்தானின் ஏமாற்று வார்த்தைகளில் சிக்கிய ஆதாமும், ஏவாளும் தேவனுடைய கட்டளைப்படி நடக்காமல், எந்தக் கனியைக் கண்டிப்பாகச் சாப்பிடக்கூடாது என்று தேவன் கட்டளை யிட்டிருந்தாரோ அந்தக் கனியை இருவரும் சாப்பிட்டார்கள். பழத்தைச் சாப்பிட்ட மறுவிநாடியே பாவம் அவர்கள் இருவரையும் பிடித்துக் கொண்டது. மேலும், அவர்கள் இருவரும் பாவிகள் ஆகிவிட்டனர். இந்தப் பாவமானது அவர்கள் இருவரோடு மட்டும் விடாமல், ஆதாம், ஏவாள் இருவருக்கும் பிறந்த அவர்களின் சந்ததியினரையும் தொடர்ந்து பிடித்துக் கொண்டது. இதனால் ஆதாம், ஏவாளுக்குப் பின் தோன்றிய உலக மக்கள் அனைவரையும் பாவம் பிடித்து பாவிகளாக மாறினார்கள்.

பாவம் என்றால் என்ன? அது எப்போது எப்படித் தோன்றியது என்ற கேள்விக்கு விடை இப்பொழுது எல்லோருக்கும் நன்றாக, தெளிவாக விளங்கியிருக்கும். உலகில் இப்படித் தோன்றிய பாவத்தைப் போக்கவே இயேசு பூமிக்கு வந்தார்.

1. மத்தேயு (1:15) பாவிகளை இரட்சிக்க கிறிஸ்து இயேசு உலகத்தில் வந்தார். அவர்களில் பிரதான பாவி நான்.

இப்படியாக உலகில் தோன்றிய பாவத்தினால் ஜனங்கள் பாவியாகி விட்டதால், அந்தப் பாவிகளைக் காப்பாற்றவே இயேசு உலகிற்கு வந்தார் என்பதனைப் பைபிள் மூலம் தெளிவாகத் தெரிந்து கொள்கின்றோம். ஆதாமையும், ஏவாளையும் அவர்களால் உண்டான உலக மக்கள் அனைவரையும் பாவியாக்கியது அவர்கள் சாப்பிட்ட பழத்தினால் அல்லவா. அப்படியானால் அவர்கள் சாப்பிட்ட பழத்தில் என்னதான் மகிமை இருக்கின்றது. இதனுடைய மகத்துவம்தான் என்ன? மர்மம்தான் என்ன என்பதையும் நாம் கண்டிப்பாகத் தெரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

ஆதாம், ஏவாள் இருவரும் சாப்பிட்ட பழத்தின் பெயர் ஆங்கிலத்தில் புரூட் ஆப் நாலெட்ஜ் (Fruit of knowledge), தமிழில் அறிவுக் கனி என்பதாகும்.

அதாவது, உலகத்தைப் படைத்த தேவன் ஆதாம், ஏவாள் இருவரையும் படைக்கும் பொழுது அவர்கள் இருவரது அறிவையும் எடுத்து, அதைப் பழமாக்கி தோட்டத்திலுள்ள ஒரு மரத்திலே வைத்துவிட்டு ஆதாம், ஏவாள் இருவரையும் முட்டாள்களாக உலாவ விட்டிருந்தார். அவர்கள் இருவரும் சாத்தானின் பேச்சைக் கேட்டு அறிவுக்கனியைச் சாப்பிட்டதால் அறிவாளி ஆகிவிடுகிறார்கள்.

ஒரு மனிதன் அறிவாளியாக ஆவது என்பது இயேசுவின் கணிப்பின்படி பாவியாக ஆவது என்பதாகும். எனவேதான் இந்தப் பாவத்தைப் போக்கி, அதாவது அவர்களுடைய அறிவைப் போக்கி மனிதர்களை மீண்டும் பழைய நிலைக்கு, அதாவது அவர்களை முட்டாள்களாக மாற்றுவதற்காகவே இயேசு பூமிக்கு வந்தார் என்பது தெளிவாக நமக்குத் தெரிய வருகின்றது.

மத்தேயு (3:11) மனந்திரும்புத லுக்கென்று நான் ஜலத்தினால் ஞானஸ்நானங் கொடுக்கிறேன்.

ஜலத்தினால் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்து மக்களிடமுள்ள பாவத்தைப் போக்குவதாகக் கூறி ஜனங்களிடையே பிரச்சாரத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார். பாவத்தைப் போக்கக்கூடிய ஞானஸ்நானம் என்றால் என்ன? ஜலத்தைக் கொண்டு ஞானஸ்நானம் செய்வது என்பது எப்படி என்ற கேள்வி எழக்கூடும்.

ஞானம் என்றால் அறிவு. ஸ்நானம் என்றால் கழுவுதல், குளிப்பாட்டுதல் என்று பொருள். ஒரு மனிதனுடைய பாவத்தைப் போக்க அதாவது அவனுடைய அறிவைப் போக்க, அவனுடைய அறிவை ஜலத்தினாலே கழுவி, குளிப்பாட்டி ஞானத்தை ஸ்நானம் செய்து முட்டாளாக்குவதுதான் இயேசு தேர்ந்தெடுத்த வழி. இதே முறைதான் இன்றும் கடைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

எவ்வளவோ முயன்றும் இயேசுவால் பன்னிரெண்டு பேர்களை மட்டுமே சீடர்களாக ஆக்கி முழு முட்டாள்களாக மாற்ற முடிந்தது. பதிமூன்றாவது நபரான யூதாசை இயேசுவால் பாதிதான் முட்டாளாக மாற்ற முடிந்தது. பாதி அறிவாளியாக இருந்தான். பாதி அறிவாளியாக இருந்த யூதாஸ் இயேசுவின் செயலை பிலாத்து மன்னனிடம் காட்டிக் கொடுத்தான்.

மாற்கு (15:15) அப்பொழுது பிலாத்து இயேசுவை வாரினால் அடிப்பித்து, சிலுவையில் அறையும்படிக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தான்.

மாற்கு (15.24) அவரைச் சிலுவையில் அறைந்தார்கள்.

மாற்கு (15:37) இயேசு மகா சப்தமாய்க் கூப்பிட்டு ஜீவனை விட்டார்.

பூமிக்கு வந்த நோக்கம் முழுமையாக முடிவடையாமல் இறக்க நேரிட்டதால், ஆவி வடிவமெடுத்து இயேசு தன்னுடைய பன்னிரெண்டு சீடர்களைச் சந்தித்து, தாம் பூமிக்கு வந்த நோக்கத்தை அவர்கள் மூலம் நிறைவேற்றுவதற்காக அவர்களிடம் வந்து கீழ்க்கண்டவாறு கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.

மத்தேயு (28:18) இயேசு சமீபத்தில் வந்து அவர்களை நோக்கி,

மத்தேயு (28:19) நீங்கள் புறப்பட்டுப் பேய், சகல ஜாதிகளையும், சீஷராக்கி அவர்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்து,

மத்தேயு (28:20) நான் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட யாவையும் அவர்கள் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி அவர்களுக்கு உபதேஷம் பண்ணுங்கள்.

அவர்களுடைய ஞானத்தை ஸ்நானம் செய்து அவர்களுடைய பாவத்தை, அதாவது அறிவைப் போக்கி, புனிதர்களாக அதாவது முட்டாள்களாக மாற்றுங்கள். முட்டாள்களாக மாறிவிட்டார்களா? என்பதைக் கண்டுகொள்வதற்குச் சில வழிமுறைகளையும் கூறினார்.

மாற்கு (16:16) விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாகி ஞானஸ் நானம் பெற்றவன் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்.

மாற்கு (16:17) விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்களால் நடக்கும் அடையாளங்க ளாவன: என் நாமத்தினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துவார்கள்.

மாற்கு (16:18) சர்ப்பங்களை எடுப்பார்கள். சாவுக்கேதுவான யாதொன்றையும் குடித்தாலும் அது அவர்களைச் சேதப்படுத்தாது.

மனிதர்களுக்கு அறிவை உண்டாக்கிய சாத்தானாகிய பிசாசுவை விரட்டியடிப்பார்கள். பாம்புகளைக் கையிலே பிடிக்கச் சொன்னாலும் பிடிப்பார்கள். சாவைத் தரக்கூடிய விஷத்தைக் குடித்தாலும் சாகமாட்டார்கள் என்று சொன்னாலும் நம்புவார்கள். இதில் எதையேனும் நம்ப மறுத்தால் அவர்களுடைய ஞானம் சரியாக ஸ்நானம் செய்யப்படவில்லை. அவர்கள் புனிதர்களாக அதாவது முட்டாள்களாக மாறவில்லை என்பதை நாம் எளிதாகக் கண்டு கொள்ளலாம் என்று இயேசு எல்லா விஷயங்களையும் அவர்களுக்கு விளக்கமாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். அதன்பின்,

லூக்கா (24:51) அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கையில் அவர்களை விட்டுப் பிரிந்து பரலோகத்துக்கு எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்பட்டார்.

மாற்கு (16:20) அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டுப் போய் எங்கும் பிரசங்கம் பண்ணினார்கள்.
கொர்த்தியர் (1:23) நாங்களோ சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்ட கிறிஸ்துவைப் பிரசங்கிக்கிறோம்.

ரோமர் (6:6) நாம் இனி பாவத்துக்கு ஊழியம் செய்யாதபடிக்கு

ரோமர் (6:12) சாவுக்கேதுவான உங்கள் சரீரத்தில் பாவம் ஆளாதிருப்பதாக மாற்கு (1:4) யோவான் வனாந்திரத்தில் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்து பாவமன்னிப்புக்கென்று மனந்திரும்புதலுக்கேற்ற ஞானஸ்நானத்தைக் குறித்துப் பிரசங்கம் பண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தான்.

மாற்கு (1:8) நான் ஜலத்தினால் உங்களுக்கு ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்தேன் என்று பிரசங்கித்தான்.

இவ்வாறாக உலக முழுவதும் பல இடங்களையும் சுற்றி பல்வேறு விதமாகப் பிரசங்கம் செய்து அனைத்து ஜாதியிலும் அநேகம் பேருக்கு ஞானஸ்நானம் செய்து புனிதர்களாக அதாவது முட்டாள்களாக மாற்றினார்கள். தன் வாழ்நாளிலேயே இயேசுவால் பன்னிரெண்டு பேர்களை மட்டுமே பாவத்தைப் போக்கிப் புனிதர்களாக மாற்ற முடிந்தது. ஆனால், இயேசுவால் புனிதர்களாக மாற்றப்பட்ட பன்னிரெண்டு சீடர்களும் உலக முழுவதும் பெரும்பான்மையான மக்களைப் புனிதர்களாக, அதாவது முட்டாள்களாக மாற்றி இயேசுவுக்குள் பலப்படுத்தினார்கள். ஒருவன் ஸ்நானம் பெற்று முழுமையான இயேசுவின் விசுவாசியாக அதாவது கிறித்தவனாக மாறிவிட்டான் என்று சொன்னால் அவன் ஒரு முழு முட்டாளாக மாறிவிட்டான் என்றே அர்த்தம்.

ரோமர் (5:14) ஆதாம் முதல் மோசே வரைக்கும் ஆதாமின் மீறுதலுக்கொப்பாய் பாவஞ் செய்தவர்களையும் ஆட்கொண்டது.

1. யோவான் (3:8) பாவஞ் செய்கிறவன் பிசாசினாலுண்டாகிறான். ஏனெனில், பிசாசானவன் ஆதி முதல் பாவஞ் செய்கிறான். பிசாசினுடைய கிரியைகளை அழிக்கும்படிக்கே தேவனுடைய குமாரன் வெளிப்பட்டார். ரோமர் (16:20) சீக்கிரமாய் சாத்தானை உங்கள் கால்களின் கீழே நசுக்கிப் போடுவார்.

ஆதியிலேயே சாத்தானுடைய செயல்பாடு களால் பூமியில் பாவம் உண்டாயிற்று. அந்தப் பாவத்தைப் போக்கவே இயேசு பிறந்து வர வேண்டியதாயிற்று. சாத்தானால் உண்டான ஞானத்தை, ஸ்நானம் செய்து ஒவ்வொருவருடைய பாவத்தை அதாவது அறிவைப் போக்கி அவர்களை இயேசுவுக்குள் பலப்படுத்தினாலும் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றவர்களுக்குப் பிறக்கும் குழந்தைகள் பாவியாகவே அதாவது அறிவாளியாகவே பிறக்க ஆரம்பித்து, இதனால் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்று கிறித்துவின் விசுவாசியாக மாறிய ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்தாரும் தங்களுக்குக் குழந்தை பிறந்தவுடன் அந்தக் குழந்தையை சர்ச்சுக்குக் கொண்டு சென்று அந்தக் குழந்தையின் ஞானத்தை ஸ்நானம் செய்து அதனுடைய பாவத்தை - அறிவைப் போக்கி இயேசுவின் விசுவாசியாக்கி, கிறித்தவனாக மாற்றி வீட்டுக்குக் கொண்டுவரும் நிகழ்ச்சியானது தொடர்ந்து நடந்து வருகின்றது என்ற விஷயம் எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்த உண்மையாகும். ஆதாம், ஏவாள் காலத்திலிருந்தே இப்படிப்பட்ட நிகழ்ச்சிகள் தொடர்ந்து நடந்து கொண்டிருப்பதை உண்மையென்று பைபிளும் ஒப்புக் கொள்கின்றது. அப்படியானால், பாவத்தை - அறிவை நிரந்தரமாகப் போக்கும் வழிதான் என்ன? அறிவை உண்டாக்கிய சாத்தானை நசுக்கி அழிப்பதுதான் அதற்கு ஒரே தீர்வு. அப்படியானால் சாத்தானை அழிப்பதற்கு இயேசு மறுபடியும் பிறந்து வரவேண்டுமே. அதுவும் சீக்கிரமாய் வரவேண்டுமே.

(வெளி 22:20) இவற்றைச் சாட்சியாக அறிவிக்கிறவர் மெய்யாகவே நான் சீக்கிரமாய் வருகிறேன் என்கிறார். ஆமென், கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவே வாரும்.

சாத்தானை நிரந்தரமாக அழித்து, பூமியின் மேலுள்ளோரின் பாவத்தை அதாவது அறிவை நிரந்தரமாகப் போக்கி அவர்களை நிரந்தர முட்டாள்களாக மாற்றி இரட்சிக்க பரம பிதாவாகிய இயேசு மீண்டும் சீக்கிரமாய் பிறந்து வர தயார் ஆகிவிட்டார். பாவத்தை, அதாவது அறிவை நிரந்தரமாகப் போக்கிக் கொள்ள நீங்கள் தயாரா? இயேசுவே சீக்கிரமாய் வாரும். ஆமென்.

கிறித்தவர்களும், கிறித்தவ மதபோதகர்களும் மற்றவர்களைப் பாவிகளே என்று அழைப்பதற்கான காரணமும், இயேசு விரைவில் வருகிறார் என்று கூறுவதன் காரணமும் எல்லோருக்கும் புரிந்திருக்கும் என நம்புகிறோம்.

The Parousia: Christ's Second Coming

Catholic Christians have always believed that Jesus Christ would come back to close the current period of human history in earth. The time when Jesus will return is given many names: the Day of the Lord, the Parousia, the end time, and the Second Coming of Christ.

The Bible describes the events of Jesus' return in apocalyptic images.

Mk 13:26-27: And then they will see 'the Son of Man coming in the clouds' with great power and glory, and then he will send out the angels and gather (his) elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of the sky.
Mt 16:27: For the Son of Man will come with his angels in his Father's glory, and then he will repay everyone according to his conduct.
Acts 1:11: They (two men dressed in white) said, "Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven."
1 Thess 4:16-18: For the Lord himself, with a word of command, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God, will come down from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, console one another with these words.

The parousia will be unmistakable because it will be accompanied by unprecedented signs.

Mt 24:27: For just as lightning comes from the east and is seen as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Some signs are general events concerning the evangelization of the world.

Mt 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.

Other signs are more proximate. Mark (Chapter 13), Matthew (Chapter 24), and Luke (Chapter 21) all describe the unmistakable signs with apocalyptic images.

2 Tim 4:1-2: I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingly power: proclaim the word ...
2 Tim 3:1-5: But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days. People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious, callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them.

No one knows exactly when this will occur.

Mk 13:32: (Jesus began his discourse ...) "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
1 Thess 5:2: For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief at night.
2 Pet 3:10: But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a mighty roar and the elements will be dissolved by fire, and the earth and everything done on it will be found out.

The Catholic Church teaches that we should avoid pointless speculations about the time, the details of the signs, the nature of the difficulties, etc. The Church focuses instead on the need for living the Gospel so as to be prepared for the parousia whenever it happens.

Mk 13:33,35-37: (Jesus began his discourse ...) "Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come. ... Watch, therefore; you do not know when the lord of the house is coming, whether in the evening, or at midnight, or at ****crow, or in the morning. May he not come suddenly and find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to all: 'Watch!'"
1 Pet 1:13-16: Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, live soberly, and set your hopes completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct, for it is written, "Be holy because I (am) holy."

Millennialism: A Thousand Year Reign

There exists among many Evangelical Protestants a dogma based on some passages in the Bible called millennialism which means a "thousand year reign." The basis for millennialism is found in the Book of Revelation.

Rev 20:1-15: Then I saw an angel come down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the abyss and a heavy chain. He seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, which is the Devil or Satan, and tied it up for a thousand yearsand threw it into the abyss, which he locked over it and sealed, so that it could no longer lead the nations astray until the thousand years are completed. After this, it is to be released for a short time. Then I saw thrones; those who sat on them were entrusted with judgment. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshipped the beast or its image nor had accepted its mark on their foreheads or hands. They came to life and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were over. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over these; they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for (the)thousand years. When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison. He will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. They invaded the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them. The Devil who had led them astray was thrown into the pool of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Next I saw a large white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his presence and there was no place for them. I saw the dead, the great and the lowly, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book of life. The dead were judged according to their deeds, by what was written in the scrolls. The sea gave up its dead; then Death and Hades gave up their dead. All the dead were judged according to their deeds. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the pool of fire. (This pool of fire is the second death. ) Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the pool of fire.
